At the Korean International School the Physical Education Department recognises the importance of exercise and physical activity in the development of the whole child, and promotes extra opportunities for students to undertake such activities.
KIS is a member of both the Hong Kong Schools Sports Federation and the International Schools Sports Federation of Hong Kong. We participate with other schools in sports competitions throughout the year at all age groups.
KIS competes across Hong Kong in sports such as football, basketball, softball, netball, swimming, golf, fencing, tennis and cross country.
Within school, students also have the opportunity to attend lunchtime and after school sports clubs, as well as participate in Inter House sports competitions throughout the year.
The Extra Curricular Activity Programme also offers a number of sports options such as tennis with Tennis Life Asia, a leading tennis coaching organisation, as well as expert coaching in other sports from talented and gifted KIS teachers.
