Invitation to Form a New International Parent-Teacher Association (IPTA) at Korean International School

Dear School Families,

We are excited to announce the formation of a new International Parent-Teacher Association (IPTA) at Korean International School. This association will serve as a vital link between parents, teachers, and the school administration, fostering a collaborative environment that supports the educational and holistic development of our students.

The IPTA will provide a platform for parents and teachers to exchange ideas, participate in school programs and activities, and contribute to the overall improvement of the school community. We believe that by working together, we can create a nurturing and enriching environment that helps our students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

To kickstart the formation of the IPTA, we are inviting applications for the following positions:

1. Co-Chair Primary
2. Co-Chair Secondary

If you are interested in taking on one of these roles, please send a brief outline of your thoughts and vision for the position to Mr. Steenkamp (msteenkamp@kis.edu.hk), Ms. Yen (gyen@kis.edu.hk), and me (dhilton@kis.edu.hk) by 4 p.m. on Friday 20th September 2024. We welcome all ideas and suggestions that align with the school’s mission and values.

The final format of the IPTA will be determined by the interested parties, ensuring that it reflects the needs and aspirations of our diverse school community. We encourage everyone to get involved and contribute to the success of this important initiative.
