UNIVERSITY GUIDANCE

KIS University & Careers Advising Office
  • Starting in Year 11, each student is assigned a dedicated University Advisor who works closely with them on comprehensive post-secondary planning. This tailored approach ensures that students receive personalized support as they explore their higher education options. Additionally, our lower secondary students participate in career lessons designed to spark their interest and get them thinking about their future paths.
  • We utilize platforms like Unifrog, an innovative tool that helps students discover their interests, explore universities, and manage their applications effectively. Unifrog offers a wealth of resources, including course information, career pathways, and tools for self-reflection, making it an invaluable asset in our advising process.
  • Throughout the year, we host a variety of events to enrich the university and career exploration experience. Students have the opportunity to meet with university representatives, participate in workshops on crafting personal statements, and develop essential skills in public speaking and interview techniques. These events are designed to equip students with the knowledge and confidence they need to succeed in their future endeavours.
  • Our dedicated team of advisors is here to assist students at every step. With a wealth of experience in higher education and career counselling, we are passionate about helping each student discover their unique strengths and interests. We believe that with the right support, every student can achieve their aspirations.
